Welcoming a new foyer and revival of the theater

A new foyer, separate from the Kursaal complex, was designed and built to revitalize and enhance the theater. The original theater foyer, built in the early 20th century, became the Casino of San Pellegrino Terme.

The project involved the total reconstruction of the 320-seat capacity theater, which also has a control booth and dressing rooms. The new independent entrance on the ground floor has a ticket office and cloakroom. The focus was on keeping the integrity of the original building and preserving its Liberty style architecture (Italian version of Art Nouveau), with the theater appearing as more of an add-on. The decorative elements and floral motifs are complemented by a sheet of perforated rusted Corten steel, with a color palette that merges with the tones of the surrounding forest.
